I received my doctorate in Psychology in 1975 from Teachers College, Columbia University and did post-doctoral work at the Ackerman Institute for Family Therapy. I taught at Brooklyn College for several years and was a psychologist for Head Start in Newark, New Jersey while I lived in New York City. In 1979 I moved to Bethlehem, PA. I was widowed in December 2016 after a 42 year marriage. I have two adult children, two grandchildren and two golden doodles. I currently work part time and have morning office hours three days a week.

I work with people of all ages and stages of life who come to me with a variety of concerns and challenges.

I "see" most situations from a systems perspective. My clients are individuals, couples and families.

Often people contact me as they are moving from one stage of life to another or they want to resolve problems that have remained unresolved for too long.

The fun and imaginative processes that I use with those interested are SoulCollage® (see www.soulcollage.com), photography and writing.

I respect the uniqueness of each person and each relationship and I work with a positive attitude towards growth and individuation.

My approach is eclectic, which means I try to assess each person, couple, or family and figure out the best possible ways to move forward.

Contact me for two or three initial consultation sessions if you would like to meet me to discuss your current situation and explore the possibilities for psychotherapy.

I am a participating Blue Cross, Blue Shield and Medicare provider. If you have another insurance plan, it may have an "out of network" provision for reimbursing non-participating providers.
